Guitar Teacher Michael Banfield

Michael is a guitarist who started out in the 90’s with a keen interest in indie and alternative rock and then developed his skills further in blues and jazz while studying music at Manchester City College and Salford University. Michael has been teaching guitar professionally since 2005.

After recording and playing live in originals rock band ‘Kill for Company’ while signed to Longevity Records, Michael’s experience in a wide range of playing styles now sees him perform in various professional rock, pop and jazz covers acts including ‘Hit The Road’, ‘Supersession’ and ‘Silver Moon’ as well as doing occasional studio sessions and live work with with other acts, recently including a tour with Canadian jazz singer ‘Tia Brazda’.
