About Scott Reynolds
Scott has been playing guitar for 23 years and has 14 years gigging experience. During that time he has played at some of the UKs biggest festivals including Bestival, YNot?, and Blissfields and has also shared the bill with the likes of Juliette Lewis, Fun Lovin Criminals, Them Is Me, Dreadzone and Mystery Jets.
He is currently in his 3rd year of study at BIMM, finishing a BA Hons in professional musicianship. Coming from an experimental background, he plays with a vast amount of effects, turning the guitar more into a synthesizer. The course has allowed him to develop a plethora of new techniques and styles including, hybrid picking, country, metal, speed alternate picking and melodic rock. With an in depth analysis of guitar players such as Brad Paisley, Brent Mason, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Pete Thorn and Albert Lee. His hard-working attitude and consistent high standard of playing has earnt Scott a place in the BIMM house band where he continues to work with the best up and coming songwriters in Brighton.
