Blues Guitar Basics – Lick Of The Week #12

by | July 5, 2019

In his first Lick of The Week, Adam Welch walks us through a straight up no nonsense blues lick. This one follows a typical 12-bar blues progression and keeps things nice and simple so it’s perfect for beginner guitarists. There are a few changes in scales to mix things up, but these are all either blue or minor pentatonic. So you should be in familiar territory and be able to get this down fairly easily. Enjoy!

Lick of The Week is a series breaking down licks/riffs by some of the best guitar tutors in the U.K. You can subscribe to our online syllabus to become a member and access the interactive tab for this lesson.
